Editorial Policy and Source Standards

We use official carrier, merchant, and government sources for changing procedures.

Before you act

Check the exact carrier, service, role, and date in the official order or tracking page. A support inquiry, carrier claim, and seller refund are separate paths.

How this applies

Each guide links to the policy or help page that supports its specific claims. We keep uncertain rules conditional and show when a service or US locale still needs checking.

Illustrative cases are labeled as hypothetical. We do not invent customer stories, tests, success rates, or guaranteed refunds.

For carrier rules, we prefer the carrier's US help center, service guide, tariff, or contract text. For buyer protection and consumer law, we prefer the relevant merchant, payment provider, or government agency. A search snippet or third-party blog is not enough to establish a filing period.

We record the event that starts a deadline, its unit, the relevant service, the claimant role, and any exclusions. Calendar days, business days, postal business days, and months remain distinct. When official pages disagree, the guide states the conflict and stops short of calculating a date.

Examples are educational scenarios. They do not portray real customers or promise a result. We use no invented testimonials, payout figures, phone numbers, or implied affiliations.

Where to go next

Use the carrier guide or situation tool to find the official contact page that applies to your order.

Use the company website directly. Do not use a link from an unexpected delivery text or email.
