Amazon TBA tracking vs Amazon Shipping: TBA typically appears in Amazon order delivery, while Amazon Shipping may carry external merchant parcels. Buyer protection follows where you purchased and who sold/fulfilled, not just carrier label.
Before you act
Check the exact carrier, service, role, and date in the official order or tracking page. A support inquiry, carrier claim, and seller refund are separate paths.
Confirm the service
Find the exact service name in your order or shipping receipt. Amazon TBA tracking vs Amazon Shipping can have different tracking, delivery commitments, and claim access from another Amazon Logistics product.

What changes for a missing or late parcel
TBA typically appears in Amazon order delivery, while Amazon Shipping may carry external merchant parcels.
Buyer protection follows where you purchased and who sold/fulfilled, not just carrier label.
Check whether a delivery partner has accepted the package. A label or transfer event alone may not show physical possession by the final-mile carrier.
Practical next steps
- Open the carrier's official tracking page and note the last physical scan.
- Compare the order's promised date with the service actually purchased.
- Ask the merchant or shipper to investigate when the shipper controls the account or claim.
- Save the order record, tracking history, and any support case ID.
Policy limits
| Procedure | Timing | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon-shipped order customer service contact | 30 calendar day from estimated delivery date | Amazon-shipped order late/missing |
| Amazon Shipping external merchant lost claim | Official documents conflict on the start date; ask the shipper to verify its current Shipper Central agreement; verify the current terms | Amazon Shipping shipper claims after loss |
A filing window is not a finding of eligibility or a promise of payment. Calendar days, business days, and calendar months are different.
